A team from Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Santa Barbara office volunteered its time to assist the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County on August 10.
As part of the firm’s Karma Program, Brownstein employees packed 255 meal bags and distributed food to kids through the Picnic in the Park program three times this summer. Picnic in the Park offers free, nutritious meals, activities and enrichment opportunities to ensure that summer is fun for all kids in Santa Barbara County. The group helped set up for the lunch service, served lunches, played games (jump rope and hula hoops) and packed up after the lunch service.
The event demonstrates Brownstein’s core value of giving back by helping the communities where its employees live and work.
