Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Michael Stratton, a senior policy director in the firm’s Denver and Washington, D.C., offices, has been named a member of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for the 2020 party convention in Milwaukee, Wis., which will be held August 17-19. Stratton will serve as a member of the Rules Committee, responsible for the procedural conduct for the convention and likely nomination of former Vice President Joe Biden. An active Democrat for decades and one of the nation’s most well-known political operatives, Stratton previously served as a DNC member from 2004-2006. Stratton’s appointment was made by the national Biden campaign.
