Brian McGuire, a policy director in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, has been appointed to the board of directors of A Purposeful Day, a nonprofit organization that provides social, emotional, physical and educational enrichment activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In his role, McGuire will help advise A Purposeful Day’s leadership on the organization’s growth and management.
“Through A Purposeful Day, Founder and President Kate Ashbrook is pioneering a model to help individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities and their families, and I’m honored to support the organization in this long overdue and sorely needed national effort,” he said.
