As we turn the page on 2020, the real estate industry is set to capitalize on 2021 while hopefully witnessing the final months of the most dire phase of the pandemic. While the market is still adapting, it is not immune to the new direction of consumer preferences. COVID-19 brought "Healthy buildings" to the front and center, and even when we are on the other side of it, this trend will stick. While "healthy" mean different things to different consumers (ex: home buyer vs. office tenant vs. a hotel guest or grocery shopper), the long brewing concept of optimizing indoor environmental health is now a necessity.
