Jessica Lewis, a policy director in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Government Relations Department, has been recognized with a Distinguished Honor Award from the United States Department of State. She received the honor from Secretary of State Antony Blinken at a ceremony at the State Department in December.
Lewis is a leader in foreign policy and defense. Her senior level experience in the State Department and nearly 20 years in the Senate and House built her extensive knowledge of the policy, political and legislative levers that determine national security policy, as well as government interactions with the defense industrial base. She worked on critical national security issues including in recent conflict areas such as Ukraine and Israel, as well as US policy in the Indo-Pacific and Taiwan.
She received the Distinguished Honor Award for her exemplary leadership advancing U.S. security partnerships through strategic arm transfers, critical military aid and innovation programs, while guiding the Bureau through unprecedented global challenges with unwavering dedication and foresight.
