Barb Mica Recognized as Outstanding Legal Professional by Law Week Colorado
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Barb Mica, its chief operating officer, was recognized as a 2021 Outstanding Legal Professional by Law Week Colorado. According to the publication, this year’s outstanding legal professionals include “some of the best and brightest legal professionals at Colorado law firms” who “regularly go above and beyond to help their firms, coworkers and clients.”
As COO, Mica leads the administrative and operational functions of the firm including administration, business development/marketing, communications, human resources, information technology, professional development and recruiting. With a background in law firm leadership and deep industry expertise, she works directly with Rich Benenson, the firm’s managing partner, and the Executive Committee to oversee operational and administrative processes.
In its profile, Law Week Colorado, highlighted Mica and her efforts leading and shaping the firm’s COVID-19 response plan, pandemic recruiting efforts, new wellness programs and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
