Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck congratulates Policy Director Brian McGuire on receiving the Treasury Medal from Sec. Steven Mnuchin this week for his public service and outstanding leadership at the Department of the Treasury from 2019-2020. The Citation notes McGuire’s work as assistant secretary of legislative affairs, success in engaging Congress and his role in implementing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act.
McGuire was also commended for his work during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he played an important role in the enactment of the bipartisan Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
