Brownstein Announces Strategic Alliance With Rubin, Turnbull & Associates
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with Rubin, Turnbull & Associates, a leading Florida-based lobbying firm headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with offices in Miami-Dade and Tallahassee. Rubin, Turnbull & Associates was founded by Florida lobbyist Bill Rubin.
“This alliance is a natural result of my colleagues working with Bill to address various client needs within the state of Florida, and a number of Bill’s clients being interested in increasing engagement at the federal level,” said Marc Lampkin, Brownstein’s Government Relations Department chair. “We are able to offer Bill and his team a national lobbying platform and a seat at the table for issues being decided in Washington, and Bill and his team are able to help Brownstein clients navigate Florida’s state and local political scene. This alliance will complement Brownstein’s growing in-house state lobbying practice.”
“As a nationally ranked lobbying firm, Brownstein is a perfect match for our team to launch an exciting strategic alliance as we’re able to create great synergy with Brownstein’s national platform and our existing market position in a key state like Florida,” said Bill Rubin. “Our firms offer complementary skill sets and have similar clients facing like-minded issues especially when it comes to challenges presented by the global pandemic.”
Brownstein is one of the nation’s leading lobbying firms, offering its clients a bipartisan team with full-service lobbying, public policy and legal representation that helps companies, associations, nonprofits and other organizations interpret federal government actions, solve challenges and seize opportunities. The firm’s work includes legislative consulting, advocacy, policy development, public relations, political messaging and representation in front of Congress, federal agencies and regulatory bodies. Brownstein’s team offers comprehensive services at the federal, state and local levels throughout the country.
“I started my lobbying career with Bill in Tallahassee and have always held him and his team in the highest regard,” said Melissa Kuipers Blake, Brownstein shareholder. “I was thrilled to bring our two powerhouse firms together to create this strategic alliance and I know these expanded resources will benefit the clients of both firms.”
Founded in 1992, Rubin, Turnbull & Associates is a leading Florida government relations firm that counts a number of Fortune 500 companies as clients. The firm’s diverse portfolio includes clients they have represented for over 20 years in health care, transportation, technology and infrastructure to advance their missions and achieve critical objectives by engaging successfully with all levels of state government. Its team is comprised of highly accomplished governmental consultants who represent clients before the Florida State Legislature, governor, cabinet, state agencies and local governments, and at the federal level.
“Our new strategic alliance with Brownstein comes at an exciting time for our firm as we continue to grow in the key South Florida market and expand our operations in our nation’s capital,” added Heather Turnbull, managing partner, Rubin Turnbull & Associates. “This joint effort will maximize opportunities for both firms and deliver strong services to our expanded client roster.”
When applicable, Brownstein and Rubin Turnbull & Associates will be listed as co-lobbyists and the strategic alliance will not preclude either firm from collaborating with other firms in Florida or Washington, D.C.
