Brownstein Government Relations Team Members Recognized on Washingtonian’s 2026 Influential 500 List
Greta Joynes, Marc Lampkin and Zach Pfister—members of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Government Relations Department in Washington, D.C.—were included on Washingtonian’s annual 500 Most Influential People Shaping Policy List.
Joynes is co-chair of the firm’s technology and telecommunications practice. As federal policymakers consider industry-altering laws and regulations on data privacy, supply chain security, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, energy, infrastructure and transportation, Joynes positions companies for success. Her technical understanding of clients’ businesses and political intuition on when and how to engage the government on their behalf has resulted in market-changing outcomes for small business coalitions, Series-A startups and Fortune 15 corporations. She was recognized in the Tech & Telecom category for the third year in a row.
Lampkin is a highly respected advisor and veteran Republican lobbyist, bringing years of political, legislative and campaign experience to bear for his clients. On the Hill, he is well-respected for his role as a member of House Speaker John A. Boehner’s (R-OH) “Team Boehner.” Since entering the private sector in 2001, Lampkin has put his political acumen to work navigating matters from both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue, from the White House to the Capitol and across the Senate to the House and led many high-profile public advocacy campaigns in Washington. He was recognized in the Business & Labor category for the third consecutive year.
Pfister has more than 20 years of experience in government, politics and high-stakes advocacy and is a senior leader in the firm’s Government Relations practice and a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues. He brings deep institutional knowledge of Congress, sharp political judgment and an extensive network across the House Democratic Caucus. As co-chair of Brownstein’s financial services practice, Pfister advises clients across cooperative and agricultural finance, retail banking, payments technology and housing sectors. He was recognized in the Banking & Finance category for the second consecutive year.
