Brownstein’s Allison Gambill and Sarah Mercer Recognized with ColoradoBiz Magazine’s 11th Annual GenXYZ Award

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Allison Gambill, of counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department, was recognized as one of ColoradoBiz magazine’s 2021 GenXYZ Top 25 Young Professionals. She was also selected as one of its Top 5 Young Professionals. Sarah Mercer, a shareholder in the firm’s Government Relations Department, was recognized as a finalist. This award honors 21- to 39-year-old go-getters in Colorado who are standouts in their companies and communities. Gambill and Mercer are featured in the Spring 2021 issue of the magazine. 

Gambill’s unique background in consumer protection and employment makes her an invaluable resource to companies in highly regulated industries. She provides comprehensive and overarching services to businesses regarding their compliance, employment and other general business needs. She counsels and defends online and brick-and-mortar consumer services companies in both employment and consumer protection matters in federal, state and administrative courts. Her practice involves providing individualized compliance advice to businesses as well as defending against pending or threatened litigation. 

Mercer ensures clients overcome challenging and entrenched legal issues by guiding clients through the complex political landscape. She combines her litigation background with her experience navigating state and local governments to develop creative political and administrative solutions for complicated legal issues. In short, Mercer helps her clients efficiently achieve their goals. She’s a connector drawing on her close ties with elected officials and bureaucratic staff at all levels of local and state government to form connections and bridge relationships among diverse stakeholders.
