Brownstein’s Justin Cohen and Martine Wells Recognized at ColoradoBiz Magazine’s 10th Annual GenXYZ Event

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Justin Cohen, a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Department, was recognized as one of ColoradoBiz magazine’s 2020 GenXYZ Top 25 Young Professionals. He was also selected as one of their Top 5 Young Professionals. Martine Wells, a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Department, was recognized as a finalist. This award honors 21- to 39-year-old go-getters in Colorado who are standouts in their companies and communities. Cohen and Wells were featured in the January/February 2020 issue of the magazine and recognized on Jan. 16 at the GenXYZ Awards event at Mile High Station.

Cohen has quickly made a name for himself as a go-to commercial litigator who counsels clients in disputes concerning contract-based issues, fraud and other business torts, and breach of fiduciary duty. An experienced trial lawyer, he has served as trial counsel in numerous bench and jury trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings. He has tried cases for private companies and individuals involved in shareholder and partnership disputes, developers and other entities in the real estate and construction industries, municipalities and large public companies.

Wells is a litigator whose practice focuses on employment law, with a specific emphasis on wage and hour law issues. Known for cultivating relationships, working in tandem with executive leadership and leveraging her industry expertise, clients rely on Wells for her strategic insights and litigation management and prevention skills. She has over a decade of experience in employment law. Her counsel is sought by clients looking for creative solutions to preventing and managing meal break and off-the-clock class and collective actions.
