Brownstein’s Matt Nyberg Named 2016 M&A Advisor 40 Under 40 Emerging Leader
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Matt Nyberg, a shareholder in the Denver office, received a 2016 M&A Advisor 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Award. Nyberg will be recognized with this national award on Friday, June 10th in New York City at the New York Athletic Club.
The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition and presentation of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created this national award to promote and recognize the emerging leaders in mergers and acquisitions. The 2016 award winners have been chosen from a pool of prominent nominees for their notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community.
“Matt is one of those rare attorneys who is the whole package—he possesses excellent technical skills, he takes the time to understand his clients’ businesses so that he can add value not just as a lawyer but as a trusted advisor and partner, he trains younger lawyers and he gives back to the community,” said Adam Agron, Brownstein’s co-managing partner.
A key member of Brownstein’s Corporate and Business Department and a talented dealmaker, Nyberg’s practice focuses on general corporate and business law for clients ranging from startups and early stage growth companies to large private equity firms and their portfolio companies, with a particular emphasis on the middle market. He has extensive experience in a broad variety of transactions. These include mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, follow-on investments, divestitures, debt and equity financings, leveraged buy-outs and corporate restructurings.
