David Reid Joins Q Street’s Board of Directors

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that David Reid, a senior policy advisor in its Government Relations Department in Washington, D.C., has been elected to the board of directors of Q Street, a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional association of LGBTQ lobbyists and public policy advocates.

Effective Jan. 1, 2022, Reid will help guide the direction of the organization and create opportunities for engagement for members and Q Street’s friends and allies on the Hill and in the administration. He has been involved with the association for more than 10 years.

“I have thrived in Washington because of the connections I’ve made in my decade of active membership with Q Street, and I look forward to giving back and helping take the organization to the next level, with renewed purpose and vigor,” Reid said. “The LGBTQ community faces unique challenges going into 2022 and beyond, and it is the strength of our community and our cohort of public policy advocates that will help ensure we meet those challenges head on.”

Reid also serves on the executive committee of the One Victory and LGBTQ Victory Institute board, the governing bodies of the LGBTQ Victory Fund and Institute.
