Downtown Denver Partnership Recognizes Bruce James

At its 63rd Annual Meeting, the Downtown Denver Partnership named Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Bruce James an honorary partner for his significant work shaping the Mile High City. This special award honors those who have made their mark on downtown Denver.

Bruce is a shareholder in Brownstein’s Denver office, previously serving as the firm’s managing partner for 10 years, and has played a leading role over the past 30 years in some of the most notable real estate projects in the Denver area and throughout the country. Practicing across a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, Bruce is best known for his expertise in public/private partnerships, hotel and resort properties and urban development projects. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Denver Civic Center Conservancy, Visit Denver and Downtown Denver, Inc. He also serves on the Denver Winter Olympics Exploratory Committee, Colorado Convention Center Expansion Task Force and the 16th Street Mall Steering Committee.

The Downtown Denver Partnership honored Bruce at its annual breakfast on July 11 at the Hyatt Regency at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
