Jack Hobaugh Receives Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional Certification
Jack Hobaugh, a shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Corporate and Business Department, has earned the certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
The AIGP credential demonstrates that an individual can ensure safety and trust in the development and deployment of ethical AI and ongoing management of AI systems. It was developed and launched by the IAPP in tandem with the IAPP AI Governance Center. Hobaugh joins the ranks of a robust community of qualified AI governance professionals who are working to establish trustworthy, safe and responsible AI worldwide.
Hobaugh combines his global software, database and network engineering experience with his legal practice to focus on technology transactions, AI, cybersecurity and privacy law. A certified information privacy professional, he uses his inhouse experience serving as a data protection officer and an incident response team member to provide AI, cybersecurity and privacy guidance to his clients. His work includes AI, cybersecurity and privacy compliance; incident response counseling; and negotiating AI, privacy and security agreements, such as data protection agreements and data protection impact assessments. He also provides technical license review and analysis, and is a member of the Brownstein Crisis Management Group.
