Norman Brownstein Named Among The Jerusalem Post’s 50 Most Influential Jews

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck Founder and Chairman Norman Brownstein has been recognized by The Jerusalem Post as one of its 2025 50 Most Influential Jews. Chairman Brownstein was honored for his decades of leadership, advocacy and philanthropy that have strengthened the U.S.-Israel relationship and advanced Jewish causes worldwide.

Chairman Brownstein’s influence spans law, public service and community engagement. He has served as a longtime board member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a board member of the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem, a member of the U.S. Holocaust Council D.C. and a longtime board member of National Jewish Health. He is presently helping secure federal recognition of antisemitism protections in higher education and funding for Holocaust education and tolerance programs.

In 1968, Chairman Brownstein founded the firm with Steve Farber and Jack Hyatt. He opened a government relations office in Washington, D.C., in 1995, which has since grown into the largest, most successful bipartisan government relations practices in the U.S. He has impacted our nation’s public policy for over four decades, and the D.C. office’s success can be credited to his passion for political advocacy and relentless pursuit of solutions to clients’ problems. Chairman Brownstein has been instrumental in the passage of numerous federal laws spanning six administrations affecting Israel and many other issues.
