Ruth Elizabeth Morris Appointed to The Greenway Foundation Board of Directors
Ruth Elizabeth Morris, an associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Natural Resources Department, was appointed to the board of directors of The Greenway Foundation, a nonprofit organization that leads efforts to reclaim the South Platte River and its tributaries to a place of environmental and recreational pride. In her role, Morris will provide support to the organization’s fundraising efforts, community engagement initiatives and strategic planning.
Morris values The Greenway Foundation’s efforts to make the South Platte River cleaner, safer and more accessible, as well as its work to facilitate river cleanup projects, build hiking and biking trails along the South Platte’s banks and restore ecosystems and natural habitats.
“I am excited to support the good work the team is doing to support the Denver community and all communities touched by the South Platte ecosystem, and I’m looking forward to supporting The Greenway Foundation’s mission to enhance and protect Denver’s waterways through equitable community engagement, education and stewardship,” she said.
