Samantha Carl-Yoder Appointed to Ivanhoe Atlantic’s Board of Directors
Samantha Carl‑Yoder, co-chair of the firm’s International and Critical Minerals practices, has been appointed to the board of directors of Ivanhoe Atlantic, a mining company advancing U.S.-aligned critical and strategic mineral projects to help power America’s future. Recognizing the critical importance of securing ultra-high grade iron ore to increase the industrial capacity for the U.S. and its allies, Ivanhoe Atlantic is currently developing the Kon Kweni Project in Guinea as its foundational asset.
As a non‑executive director, Carl‑Yoder will serve as an independent member of Ivanhoe Atlantic’s board and contribute to guiding its long‑term growth.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with my Ivanhoe Atlantic board colleagues and our management team as we work to provide the world’s highest grade iron ore to U.S.-aligned markets in 2027 by unlocking a strategic corridor that can provide so much to local communities in both Guinea and Liberia for decades to come,” Carl-Yoder said.
