Sloane Whelan Elected to Girls Inc. of Metro Denver Board of Directors
Sloane Whelan, a senior policy advisor in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s State Government Relations Group, has been elected to the board of directors of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver—an affiliate of Girls Inc., a leading national organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold.
Whelan will serve a three-year term, supporting the organization through fundraising, programming initiatives and strategic guidance.
“Advocacy for women and girls is at the core of who I am and something I always come back to time and time again,” she said. “Becoming a mother to a daughter three years ago only reaffirmed my commitment. I am excited to continue to be a fierce advocate for girls and empower our next generation as a board member of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver.”
Girls Inc. of Metro Denver equips girls to reach their full potential through evidence-based programming and mentorship. For more information, visit https://girlsincdenver.org/.
