Background
Aaron Kempf leverages his experience with complex motions, regulatory filings and ethics oversight in his litigation practice at Brownstein. As a summer associate, he drafted briefs and memoranda on a variety of topics, including ERISA, bankruptcy, government relations, corporate law and commercial litigation. Aaron externed for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada, preparing oral rulings for Judge August B. Landis, and he previously served as an ethics monitor paralegal in a high-value bankruptcy case involving the sale of a national legal services provider.
While in law school, he was a teaching assistant and partnered with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada to teach community members how to file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions.
Before entering the legal profession, Aaron served for six years in the United States Marine Corps, where he held the rank of sergeant and specialized as an infantry assaultman.
