Adam Agron possesses the powerful combination of first-hand experience running a business and a noteworthy track record advising C-level executives and boards of directors on legal, business and policy matters. He advises private equity firms, public and private companies and entrepreneurs through mergers and acquisitions, control and minority investments, equity and debt financings, leveraged and management buy-outs, fund formation, recapitalizations, joint ventures and corporate governance matters. Adam’s experience spans numerous industries, including business and financial services, technology, media, sports, entertainment, consumer products, travel, real estate, aerospace, manufacturing and health care, among others. He also works on select, high-stakes government affairs matters for his clients in conjunction with the firm’s top-rated Washington, DC lobbying practice.

As Brownstein’s Managing Partner and CEO from 2013-2019, Adam spearheaded the firm’s strategic direction and oversaw all operations, achieving record growth and performance for the firm.

Passionate about giving back and sharing his expertise, Adam is a board member and senior advisor to non-profits, business organizations, elected officials and political campaigns on matters involving law, business and policy. He has served as an adjunct professor of corporate law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Prior to attending law school Adam worked on some of the largest, most complicated transactions in the country as a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen Katz in New York.

  • Represent Apollo Global Management, an alternative asset management firm based in New York, in connection with numerous investments on behalf of its private equity and hybrid value funds as well as mergers, acquisitions and divestitures on behalf of its portfolio companies.
  • Represent Clarion Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, in numerous portfolio company acquisitions, dispositions and add-ons.
  • Represent Bow River Capital, a Denver-based private equity firm, in connection with its acquisitions, joint ventures and formations of multiple funds as well as corporate and governance matters.
  • Represent Rallyday Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm, in connection with numerous platform acquisitions, equity and debt financings, dispositions and portfolio company add-ons.
  • Represent KSL Capital Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm, on various corporate, mergers and acquisitions and government affairs matters.
  • Represent Evermore Partners, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, in the formation of its fund and ongoing investments and equity capital raises.
