Background
J. Alex Remy brings nearly a decade of experience in legislative analysis, government relations and policy advocacy to Brownstein’s Government Relations team. Based in Washington, D.C., he advises clients in the transportation, aerospace, energy, defense and infrastructure sectors, helping them navigate complex legislative issues and advance priorities at the federal and state levels.
Before joining Brownstein, Alex was a public policy advisor at Blank Rome Government Relations, where he led policy research, crafted federal advocacy strategies, and identified agency funding opportunities. He also served as manager of government affairs at Cirba Solutions, a critical minerals company, and as manager of federal affairs at the American Association of Airport Executives, where he worked with airport leaders and federal policymakers.
Additionally, his background includes roles at CRD Associates, the International Monetary Fund, and Robinhood Financial, where he contributed to the rollout of Robinhood Crypto. As a licensed commercial pilot, he also serves as chief pilot and director of marketing and media for Columbia Training Centers, a Washington, D.C., flight school.
