Andrew Freyer advises technology-driven clients to build and defend international patent strategies aligned with business, marketing and investment objectives, supplementing his legal counsel with deep technical expertise in full-stack software development, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence and data analytics. He bridges communication gaps between engineers, executives and investors, ensuring IP decisions meaningfully support growth.

Andrew further supplements his legal and technical experience with insights surfaced by a private prosecution analytics platform he designed, built and maintains to ensure clients quickly and efficiently realize value from investments in innovations and research, without incurring unnecessary prosecution delays or expenses and without becoming trapped in subject matter eligibility disputes.

He has extensive experience with technologies spanning consumer electronic devices, wireless communications standards, nuclear reactors, electrical power systems, generative and agentic systems, model context protocol implementations, network security infrastructure, water treatment systems, and building and home automation. His applications have provided protection in advance of major international product releases, widely reported startup acquisitions, and market-defining generative and agentic enterprise platforms. 

Andrew also counsels clients litigation regarding preparation and avoidance. He has also been recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce for responsible disclosure of critical vulnerabilities in USPTO systems.
