Background

Angelina Casimates tracks and evaluates pivotal legislative and executive policy decisions for the Energy, Environment and Resource Strategy team. Her analysis provides critical insights that strengthen clients’ government relations strategies as they navigate engagements with lawmakers on Capitol Hill and government agencies.

Previously, Angelina was at the House Appropriations Committee where she served as subcommittee operations manager for the Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, under Chairman Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN). In this role, she gained in-depth knowledge of congressional procedures, while interacting with the Departments of Interior and Energy, as well as the Army Corps of Engineers. Her experience also includes an internship with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), where she contributed to public relations campaigns designed to educate the public and government on disaster preparedness for both natural and man-made events.
