Working with some of the most recognized names in Denver’s ever-expanding real estate market, Andi Stader is a highly effective real estate attorney primarily focused on development projects ranging from acquisitions to entitlements to development of a site to the sale of the asset. Her practice is also informed by her extensive lending experience, providing an all-in-one service for projects spanning all asset classes.

Known for her efficiency and wide-ranging competence with all aspects of real estate dealmaking, Andi has particular expertise with multifamily, industrial, mixed-use, transit-oriented and master-planned projects. She also works with lenders across the country on loan originations and refinancings on a range of asset classes. Understanding the value of relationships in a negotiation-heavy industry, Andi is embedded in Denver’s dynamic real estate market.

Prior to joining the firm, Andi was a global finance and debt services associate at Alston & Bird, LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina. Andi is also active in pro bono legal service and a long-time volunteer for organizations promoting outdoor causes, environmental conservation and rock climbing education.

    Representative Matters

    Recent Experience

    • Represented Mile High Koelbel (MHK), a joint venture between Mile High Development and Koelbel and Company, as the master developer for a 21.5-acre Urban Renewal TOD site located in Aurora, CO, to include relocation of a King Soopers and KeyBank, development of 500 units of residential, 100,000 square feet of retail and up to 250,000 square feet of commercial space.

    • Represented a Minneapolis-based real estate owner and developer in the $21.1 million acquisition of 129 acres in Aurora close to Denver International Airport where it plans to develop into a new industrial complex. The development will occur in two phases with a total of 1.9 million sq.-ft. cross-dock space.

    • Represented a global real estate development firm, in the acquisition, entitlement and development of a 600,000 square foot industrial distribution facility in Loveland, CO, including negotiating municipal incentive agreements, ditch company relocation and crossing agreements, a mineral surface rights relinquishment agreement, and several utility easement relocation agreements.

    • Represented a leading Colorado-based comprehensive real estate development, investment, and management firm in the acquisition of raw land, entitlement of a multi-family midrise building in RiverNorth District of Denver, as well as in the simultaneous joint venture equity and construction financing for the project. This project is one of the first multifamily projects to use the City of Denver’s Incentive Overlay.

    • Representing a master developer in the entitlement of a 41-acre urban infill property at the intersection of I-25 and I-70.  This will be a transformative mixed-use center for North Denver. We are providing counsel with respect to negotiations with City and County of Denver, the Denver Urban Renewal Authority and various community groups. The ground breaking for the first phase of environmental remediation began in September of 2022.
