Background

Focused on civil litigation and business law, Daniel Higgins represents financial services industry clients in a variety of matters. He has specific experience advising bank and loan servicers in distressed situations and has a successful track record managing a high volume of cases. 

Prior to joining Brownstein, Daniel was an associate at the Albuquerque office of a national law firm specializing in financial services, where he represented clients in foreclosure, eviction and bankruptcy matters as well as managed the litigation department staff. While in law school, he was the editor-in-chief of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and interned in the Oklahoma City Public Defender’s Office. Before earning his law degree, he was a litigation paralegal and manager at a law firm in New Mexico focused on mortgage servicers and bankruptcy.
