Background

Jacob Epstein focuses on gaming and corporate governance matters, drawing on experience in both private practice and government service. He brings skill and background in regulatory compliance, appellate matters, government affairs and antitrust law.

Before joining Brownstein, Jacob clerked for Judge Jaqueline Bluth in Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court, where he prepared civil and criminal calendars, drafted court orders and conducted research on complex legal issues. He also previously worked as a law clerk with the firm’s Las Vegas office, assisting with appellate filings, compliance manuals and corporate governance projects as well as supporting the firm’s Government Relations Department in D.C. Jacob also interned with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, contributing to legal briefs, speeches and international coordination on global antitrust enforcement.
