Background

Jakob Zemba strengthens Brownstein’s international and trade practices by monitoring and analyzing global business trends and foreign affairs. He delivers actionable research and strategic insights to help develop client strategy on issues such as international risk and multinational investment.

Jakob’s prior experience includes working with leading international policy organizations, such as the National Foreign Trade Council, where he prepared briefs and memos on export controls, sanctions, tariffs, international tax policy and U.S.–China competition. He also developed a strong foundation in cyber policy through his work with the Internet Security Alliance, where he tracked developments in cyber risk and governance.
