James A. Carter

James Carter is a commercial real estate attorney with a focus on real estate finance.  He advises lenders and borrowers both locally and on a national scale across a variety of loan types and asset classes. Since joining the firm, James has assisted in the closing of more than $2 billion in financings. He also has experience in real estate development, acquisition, disposition and leasing. 

Before joining the firm, James worked at a large law firm in Indianapolis and gained experience across a variety of real estate-related disciplines, including real estate finance, land use, eminent domain and real estate litigation, which informs his well-rounded, practical approach to working with clients and meeting their goals.
