He turns policy goals into practical results by crafting advocacy strategies, conducting in-depth policy analysis, and communicating stakeholder viewpoints through comment letters, talking points and white papers.

Joel’s work focuses on housing and mortgage finance, depository institutions, consumer credit, and digital asset policy. Before joining the firm, he worked for former Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI), where he cultivated relationships and gained firsthand experience navigating Capitol Hill and the legislative process.
