Background
Joseph Kaminsky focuses his corporate practice on complex transactional matters, with particular experience representing private equity and insurance industry clients. His experience includes mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, reinsurance transactions, strategic partnerships and “sidecar” investments, as well as related insurance regulatory strategies.
Joseph regularly drafts and negotiates sophisticated transaction documents and has coordinated and prepared insurance regulatory filings and advised on regulatory strategy. Prior to law school, he was a private equity funds specialist and risk management associate at a multinational financial services holding company, gaining deep insight into the financial industry and related regulatory schemes.
While in law school, he was part of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.
