Lucas E. Garcia

A dynamic civil litigator, Lucas Garcia’s practice focuses on a broad range of matters in securities, employment and maritime law. He primarily works with clients in the financial services and investment industry.

In his securities practice, Lucas has successfully defended clients against claims that include fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and suitability in both court and arbitration proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority arbitration proceedings. In an employment context, he has brought cases involving defense against counterclaims of hostile work environment, retaliation, and gender and race discrimination. He has also led investigations in general business litigation involving interviews compliance managers and employees and extensive document review from employment agreements to email correspondence.
