Background
Madeleine Tayer is a dynamic litigator with wide-ranging complex commercial litigation experience, including an extensive background in securities law. Spanning industries from financial services to health care to entertainment, she has represented public and private companies, securities underwriters, investment firms, hedge funds, boards and executives in a variety of matters. These include private securities lawsuits, shareholder derivative actions, complex business disputes, white collar investigations and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Madeleine was a senior litigation associate at a large international law firm in New York, focusing on matters related to securities, complex commercial disputes and government investigations. While in law school, Madeleine interned for Judge Joan M. Azrack of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and served as a law clerk for Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Judiciary Committee office. Madeleine was also an editor on the Georgetown Law Journal.
