Background

In her role as chief talent officer and as a member of Brownstein’s Business Leadership Team, Margaux Trammell leads the firm’s integrated recruitment and retention efforts and its strategic objectives to recruit, develop and retain legal and government relations talent.

Margaux oversees all firmwide talent initiatives, including recruiting, training and development, performance evaluations and management, attorney and policy professional integration, internal advancement, mentoring and career planning. She ensures that all recruiting, onboarding, professional development and elevation processes align with Brownstein’s core values. She also collaborates on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts with the firm’s Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity teams to foster and maintain a welcoming and inclusive culture. She is an active member of Brownstein’s Pro Bono Committee and leads the Audit Letter Committee, where she supervises the audit letter response process. She is also a liaison to the firm’s Associates Committee.

Margaux brings almost two decades of experience as a practicing attorney to her role. Before focusing exclusively on talent management and development, she was a shareholder in Brownstein’s Corporate Business Department, where her practice focused on outside general counsel representation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and finance matters. She also served as chair of the firm’s Professional Development Committee. 

Margaux is fluent in French and Italian.
