Marianne Rowden is a recognized authority in global trade, with a strong presence both in Washington, D.C. and on the international stage. Her deep experience on trade issues allows her to advise clients on tariff policy strategy and legal compliance. She has played influential roles in key global commerce initiatives, where she helped shape global standards and best practices.

Marianne has an extensive network of relationships with leaders across international trade associations. In her previous leadership role with the American Association of Exporters and Importers, she worked closely with the World Customs Organization (WCO) including participation in the Private Sector Consultative Group and three terms as co-chair of the WCO Working Group on E-Commerce, where she was instrumental in developing the framework of standards for cross-border e-commerce. Her contributions have significantly advanced private sector standards, especially those related to trade in both physical and digital goods. She continues this work, serving as CEO of the E-Merchants Trade Council, where she advocates for e-commerce entrepreneurs on matters related to trade, tax and transportation.

Marianne has testified before congressional committees and federal agencies, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Bureau of Industry and Security. Well respected in her field, she is a frequent speaker at major trade forums and industry conferences. Previously, she contributed her expertise as an advisor to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), supporting the growth and competitiveness of small enterprises in the global marketplace.
