Background

Nicole’s practice spans complex corporate transactions and day-to-day advisory work for clients across diverse industries. She is regularly involved in the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, workforce integration and post-deal compliance. Nicole also provides strategic counsel on employment matters ranging from policy development and multi-jurisdictional compliance to employee transitions, confidentiality and restrictive covenant protections, and proactive risk mitigation. By collaborating with Brownstein’s government relations team, she helps clients stay ahead of legislative and regulatory changes, enabling them to respond swiftly and strategically.

Prior to joining Brownstein, Nicole earned her law degree from the University of Denver and an LLM in European business law in Spain. She is recognized for her thoughtful, business-oriented approach to employment law, guiding clients through the intersection of legal compliance, business strategy and people management with clarity and confidence.
