Background
Sarah Voehl applies strong legal research and writing skills, along with a solid foundation in federal court practice, to her work at Brownstein. She draws on her experience clerking for two years for the Honorable Gloria M. Navarro of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, where she conducted in-depth legal research and drafted orders resolving dispositive motions. She supported Judge Navarro in court by preparing bench memoranda for civil and criminal proceedings and authored written orders based on the evidence presented.
As a summer associate, Sarah conducted research on a broad range of substantive and procedural legal issues and drafted memoranda to inform case strategy. She also created claims charts and organized key evidence to support the Litigation Department’s trial preparation. Previously, she served as a law clerk in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
While in law school, Sarah served as a student attorney in the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic, Nevada law editor of the Nevada Law Journal and Moot Court president for the Society of Advocates.
Prior to law school, Sarah worked for an international travel company as a product manager and corporate account flight specialist.
