Scott Douglas is a veteran lobbyist with more than 25 years of experience navigating complex legislative and regulatory processes at both the federal and state levels. He counsels clients in the health care, consumer finance, education, insurance and technology sectors, helping them develop and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve their policy objectives.

Scott’s background includes roles working for Fortune 500 companies, national trade associations and multistate lobbying operations. He has directed government affairs programs across the U.S. and worked closely with external lobbying teams and key decision-makers. His comprehensive understanding of health care policy encompasses managed care, long-term care facilities and long-term care pharmacies, guiding his clients through a wide range of complex legislative and regulatory issues, including matters before the U.S. Congress.

Earlier in his career, Scott served as finance director for Sen. Mitch McConnell. He also held senior roles on multiple federal political campaigns, including serving as the Kentucky campaign manager for Bush-Cheney 2000 and as political director for Sen. Jim Bunning’s 1998 campaign. Scott is a past president of the Washington Industrial Roundtable.
