Background
Sophie Russinoff supports policy clients with legislative tracking and policy research spanning a wide range of established and emerging industries. Her experience includes analyzing legislation, identifying policy trends and preparing executive-level reports that inform advocacy and business strategies, including for highly regulated industries.
Prior to Brownstein, Sophie was a senior legislative issue manager at Stateside Associates, where she focused on food, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, gaming and relevant municipal policy. She was also previously a policy and communications coordinator for the Massachusetts High Technology Council, where she tracked federal legislation, found grant opportunities, managed communications initiatives and supported client engagement. She also served as a research fellow with former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s 2021 gubernatorial campaign and worked as a research admin at Tremont Strategies Group.
