Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Barb Mica, the firm’s chief operating officer, has been appointed to the board of directors of Girls on the Run of the Rockies. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based youth development program designed to develop and enhance girls’ social, psychological and physical competencies to navigate life experiences. The program combines 5k training with an interactive curriculum that promotes competence, confidence, character and contribution.
Mica will begin her two-year board appointment in January.
“I look forward to combining my passion for running with a girls’ leadership and education program to help support girls and future leaders in our community,” she said.
