Liz Esposito Recognized by Sacramento Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 Honoree
Liz Esposito, a shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Natural Resources Department was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of its 2025 40 Under 40 honorees. The 40 Under 40 program celebrates the region’s most talented young professionals. Honorees are selected from hundreds of nominees by a panel of past recipients, with input and final approval from the Sacramento Business Journal’s editorial team.
Combining a background working with and for government agencies, Esposito leverages her diverse, hands-on natural resources experience to provide strategic counsel and advocacy on a range of natural resource matters. On behalf of private and public clients, she assists in the acquisition, development, maintenance and protection of water rights and resources. When it comes to the far-reaching scope of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Esposito manages the environmental analysis process for large natural resources projects, has a detailed eye for evaluating the legal adequacy of analyses and develops tailored strategies for navigating environmental permitting processes. She also regularly represents clients in complex natural resources litigation, including at the appellate level.
