Rich Benenson Named One of Denver Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs
Rich Benenson, managing partner at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, was recognized as one of the Denver Business Journal’s 2025 Most Admired CEOs. This honor recognizes CEOs for their outstanding contributions to their companies and the communities they serve.
In his DBJ profile, Benenson reflected on Brownstein’s transformative growth following a record-breaking financial performance in 2024. Under his leadership, the firm has also expanded its national footprint with new offices in Tampa and New York City and launched a public affairs practice in Washington, D.C., broadening its capabilities beyond legal and lobbying to include strategic communications.
“I’m motivated by the opportunity to make an impact from the work we do for our clients, our team and our community,” Benenson said in his DBJ profile. “I’m driven by the challenge of building a firm that not only delivers exceptional results for our clients and the community but also fosters a culture where people can thrive over the long term.”
He added in a DBJ video: “I’m personally attracted to high-end problem solving. I like helping people solve complex problems, in particular at the intersection of business, law and policy. I think that’s where I provide the most value to clients and where our firm provides the most value to clients.”
Benenson is also committed to giving back through his service on History Colorado’s board and his support for causes championed by the Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Benenson was honored for his contributions at a celebratory awards dinner on Nov. 20.
