Rosa Baum provides an extensive background in policy and legal strategy that makes her a vital member of the Litigation Department. Her work in immigration and civil rights was formative to her research and writing skills.
Most recently, Rosa clerked for the Colorado Supreme Court. She also has worked in the office of Sen. Michael Bennett (D-CO), serving as a legal fellow to consult on antitrust and immigration policy, the Colorado governor’s office during the 2018-2019 transition, providing analysis on tax code changes. She also spent time with the New York state office of the attorney general, conducting legal research and writing memoranda. This complemented her time with Sin Fronteras and Human Rights Watch where she developed skills in immigration case work.
