Background
Enterprising and self-directed, Lance Collins focuses his hybrid practice on civil litigation and transactional matters related to construction and real estate. He also brings a degree and background in civil engineering and construction projects along with an emerging expertise in appellate law.
Lance joined Brownstein from a large commercial law firm in Denver, where he focused on commercial litigation, construction defect matters and appellate matters. While there, he independently managed a variety of cases from intake by crafting litigation strategy, managing case teams, and consulting with clients.
Lance previously worked as a law clerk in Xcel Energy’s legal department and for a boutique construction firm in Greenwood Village. He also served a judicial extern for Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Allison Eid. While in law school, he was the associate editor for the Denver Law Review and a staff editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review.
