Matthew Brooks supports his clients as they navigate complex political, legislative and regulatory environments in Washington and beyond. Renowned for his strategic insight and executive leadership, Matt brings a business perspective to government relations informed by decades of experience advising senior policymakers in the United States and abroad.
Matt concurrently serves as chief executive officer of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), a position he has held for more than three decades, and the Jewish Policy Center. In these roles, he has worked closely with U.S. presidents, senior White House officials, executive agency leaders, members of Congress and governors, as well as prime ministers and heads of state internationally. His experience provides clients with a rare understanding of government decision-making and global political dynamics.
Matt started his time at RJC as the director of the organization and subsequently served as national field director for the Victory ’88 Jewish Campaign Committee, where he designed and implemented strategies for the Bush–Quayle campaign. He began his political career while an undergraduate at Brandeis University, serving as chairman of the Massachusetts College Republicans. He later managed the Jack Kemp for President campaign in Massachusetts and directed regional efforts across New England.
Matt advises the firm’s Government Relations Department as an affiliated advisor.
