During her time managing public policy at Uber Technologies, Michele led engagement with all 51 state attorneys general, building strategic partnerships and handling responses to regulatory inquiries. She managed legal and regional operations to advocate for innovative transportation policies and to protect the independent employment structure in the gig-economy.
Michele also served as deputy director of policy at the Democratic Attorneys General Association, where she developed programming and policy content for state AGs nationwide. She advised senior leadership on high-profile legal actions and policy trends, and played a pivotal role in organizing national policy conferences and strategic partnerships.
