These are just some of the many credentials that Nicole Ament, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, brings to her real estate practice and clients’ projects, every day. Focusing on land use, development, financing and disposition, she spearheads transactions featuring complex portfolios and large single assets. Nicole draws on diverse experience navigating complicated development and land use issues, to ensure her clients across the nation—from resorts and second-home communities to mixed-use projects and recreational developments—meet their business goals. Previously, she served as the chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department as well as its Hospitality, Resort Recreation industry group. In 2018, Nicole was named one of Bisnow’s Denver Power Women for having a significant impact on the business and commercial real estate industries, and helping propel cities and communities forward.

Whether she’s finding new ways to make transactions more efficient or developing smooth exit strategies and structuring opportunity zone investments, Nicole brings dedication and drive to every angle of her work.
A leader in all aspects of her life, Nicole is also a champion of various social and community initiatives. She previously served as co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, and on the committees of five advocacy and charitable groups, including Habitat for Humanity and the Urban Land Institute.
Representative Matters
- Counsel to Brue Bakol Capital Partners in its development of The District, a walkable mixed-use community that will include over 2.5 million square feet of office space, a 200-key hotel, 1,800 residential units and over 30,000 square feet of retail on 36 acres in Centennial, Colorado.
- Counsel to Centennial Opportunity Fund in the development of Bighorn Crossing, a mixed-use residential and commercial project in Georgetown, Colorado. The development includes townhouses and multifamily residential, a brew pub and a Microtel by Wyndham.
