Keeping Denver’s Downtown Core Thriving
To keep up with Denver’s rapid population growth and demand in the downtown core, infill development is booming. When ZBlock Holdings, a joint venture, sought to transform an unappealing parking lot and rundown historical building—the former Windsor Dairy Block—in Denver’s transportation district, Brownstein’s Real Estate team was chosen to lead this complex redevelopment project. The team drew on significant experience shaping historic developments across the west to negotiate financing, create leases, and draft hundreds of documents to make the project a reality. Today, Dairy Block is a thriving mixed-use development featuring 260,000 square feet of office space, a 172-room hotel, 60,000 square feet of retail as well as restaurant space and a parking garage.
