Trent Morse, through a strategic alliance with the firm, supports Brownstein’s clients as they navigate Washington, the Trump administration and Florida politics. His demonstrated expertise in communicating messages and proven integrity contribute to efficient, goal-aligned outcomes. Trent has extensive political and governmental experience, having served as deputy assistant to the president and deputy director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office, where he worked closely with President Trump to vet more than 3,000 staffers for jobs in the administration.

Before joining the White House in January of 2025, Trent worked with the Trump-Vance transition team and led external and GOP outreach for the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. His broad political experience includes multiple campaigns on the federal and state levels, national conventions, and external affairs in the Florida Governor’s Office.

Trent also worked at various agencies during the first Trump administration, including White House liaison at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; senior policy advisor to the deputy secretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and as a special assistant at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Before coming to Washington, Trent held positions at the Florida Department of Transportation and a prominent transportation and infrastructure holding company, where he worked in corporate development.
