Andy Meyers' practice integrates real estate, water resources, mining and construction. He provides a comprehensive approach to the acquisition, development, management and disposition of commercial, residential and industrial assets.

With his experience resolving the distinct challenges inherent in water rights and water infrastructure transactions, Andy is uniquely qualified to negotiate and close complex transactions. Andy has served as counsel for the purchase, sale and joint use of all classes of water rights for municipal and industrial uses, and has negotiated the development, purchase and construction of several large-scale water storage and conveyance facilities.

Andy also negotiates construction and design contracts with a particular focus on construction defect risk mitigation. His work includes office and retail, multifamily housing and water infrastructure projects ranging from $10 million to $200 million.

He represents the owners and operators of large residential, commercial, industrial and multi-use projects in the development, conveyance and operation of their assets and advises on matters related to common interest ownership structures. He also oversees legal representation for the leasing and operation of multiple commercial and office projects.

Representative Matters


  • Represent a leading real estate investment company in office and retail leases throughout the country, including in Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; and San Diego, California.

  • Represent the owner of the U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Denver, Colorado with respect to its office and retail leasing matters. Notable retail tenants at the 26-story Class A building include Caribou Coffee and Chili’s.


  • Ongoing representation of a Boston-based real estate investment firm, as landlord, in all leasing matters at the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Denver. Colloquially known as the "Cash Register Building", and known for its distinctive double-curved crown, at 52 stories tall it is one of the tallest buildings in Denver. Major tenants include Wells Fargo, Whiting Petroleum and WeWork.

  • Ongoing representation of Aurora Water, the third largest water provider in Colorado serving more than 360,000 residents. Our work with Aurora Water includes the acquisition of water rights as well as the purchase of irrigation ditch companies that had been used for manufacturing and farm irrigation, but now will be Aurora’s to use for future growth.

  • Represent the water and sanitation district serving the Town of Monument Colorado in the purchase of water rights.
